How do I book the venue?

Click on the "Book" tab in the navigation bar to view pricing and available dates and times. If a specific date or time is not listed, it means the venue is either booked or unavailable. Please make sure you book a long enough slot to set up and pack down.

The automated response will confirm your booking and you will be invoiced retrospectively.

What is the capacity?

We have 100 chairs, 20 trestle tables, and a maximum standing capacity of 120.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, we have wheelchair access through the side door, and a disabled toilet is available. We also have a sound loop available for those who may need it.

Is there parking?

Unfortunately, there is no dedicated parking, however, there are various paid car parks less than a 5-minute walk from the venue.

Is there a kitchen?

Yes, but the space is limited and more suitable for food preparation and service rather than cooking from scratch. There is a sink but no glass washer and basic utensils can also be provided at an extra fee.

What is the size of the room?

Approximately 11 x 14 metres (not an open space as there are pillars within that space)

Is there a license to sell alcohol?

Yes, we are licensed for late-night refreshments and amplified music. However, you will need to appoint a responsible person with a personal license to oversee any alcohol sales. We always encourage safe drinking/promotion only.

What time does the venue close?

Each event is different, however, we have licenses for music, entertainment and the service alcohol until 11 PM (Monday - Thursday) and 1 AM (Friday - Saturday)

Can I set up before the event?

We can be flexible on this, but only if the venue is not in use. To ensure you have enough time for setup and cleanup, we recommend booking additional time before and after your event.

What about our rubbish?

We have a general waste bin and a blue recycling bin available in the garden. However, you'll need to handle the disposal of glass bottles yourself and provide your own internal bins or bin bags for larger events.

Is there a cloakroom?

No, but we do have a clothes rail with hangers near the entrance that can hold around 20 coats, as well as storage space available upstairs.
